Sizemarkers for hangers are traditionally accessories made of plastic, intended to facilitate and speed up the size identification process, allowing for time savings and immediate product visualization.

Plastic is known to be a very durable material, but often this quality alone is not enough: in fact, many hanger sizemarkers do not have a lifespan worthy of their potential. Sometimes because they break, sometimes because they get lost due to their slender size, other times because they discolor or the size indication print wears off.

Carefully follow these suggestions to prevent sizemarkers - over time - from hardening, breaking, or the print from getting damaged, ensuring that you fully enjoy the benefits of these valuable tools in the long run.

1. IDEAL ENVIRONMENT: store sizemarkers away from heat sources and direct sunlight. Environments with a constant temperature between +5°C and +30°C are preferable. Avoid extreme temperature fluctuations that could compromise the plastic over time;

2. LIGHT PROTECTION: in storage areas, direct sunlight can cause fading and color alteration of sizemarkers over time. Therefore, store them in dark places or use opaque containers to protect them from light;

3. HANDLE WITH CARE: avoid excessive bending or subjecting sizemarkers to strong pressures to prevent plastic breakage or deformation. Handle them delicately to ensure their longevity;

4. CORRECT USAGE: sometimes, sizemarkers may break when inserted into the hanger hook. This problem mainly occurs when the sizemarker used is not suitable for the hook diameter. It's important to understand that sizemarkers don't break due to defects in the plastic, but rather because each sizemarker is designed to fit specific hook diameters, and different manufacturers may have different sizes.

   • Use sizemarkers like the STANDARD article, suitable for hooks with a diameter from ø 2.7 to a maximum of ø 3.6 mm, for standard plastic hangers.

• For wooden hangers with larger diameter hooks, consider using sizemarkers like the SQUARE version, with dimensions of 13x13 mm, guaranteed to fit hooks with diameters from ø 2.3 to a maximum of ø 6 mm.
