SIZEMARKERS: WHY MINIMUM ORDERS? COME TO THE PRODUCTION DEPARTMENT WITH US!

1. the first step is disassembling the cliché-holder and inkwell from the machinery;

2. then separate the ink pot from the cliché-holder;
3. third step is about manual cleaning (arduous) of the cliché and inkwell;
4. the thorough cleaning is continued with the appropriate washing machine (which does not appear in the video);
5. redo the ink (or change it completely if the color to be printed is different), recovering the residue in a container and adding the new one, until you get to the right density through the use of a special thinner for inks;
6. the new ink can now be poured into the inkwell clean, and reinserted into the cliché with the new size to be printed;
7. reassemble the whole on the pad printing machine;
8. finally, we proceed with the centering of the prints on the sizemarker, which will generate the waste of some sizemarkers (which will be recycled) in making sure that the machinery is properly adjusted.

Now multiply the whole process x3:
each machine has 3 cliché-holder, given the 3 prints on the body of the sizemarker.

So, orders of 100-1000 pieces are very low (in short, the game is not worth the candle!).
As a result, custom production of these small runs can have exaggerated prices given the higher cost of labor (also used to load and download the sizemarkers to be printed on the vibrators: automation in fact does not work well with a few pieces).

Finally, we came to the reason why production logistics must be optimized, and there is a minimum order by size in order to obtain an optimal price, which amortizes the costs of downtime and labor!

On the other hand, being manufacturers we have more than 200 clichés available: this makes us able to better customize the sizemarkers with the writings that the customer considers necessary.

For example, the last highly personalized order, had imprinted in a single size marker both years and relative cm of height, in this way:

“12Y 158 CM”

Other customizations have concerned the writing "Made in Italy", or the recycling symbol for environmental labeling , as shown in the photo.
